Our last member garden party of the year - an upscale international mixer to benefit Doctors Without Borders.
For this social event, we are mixing several international groups and one Arabic group for a Middle-Eastern themed potluck (both food and drink). No jeans allowed - we do recommend jackets for the guys. This mixer will be at a garden apartment (holds 110 people) in Upper West Side. The weather will be clear, but cool, so dress appropriately. The event goes from 7 PM to 2 AM.
Note: we have opened up a few 'day-before' spots in a couple of the groups to balance the attendance. If a spot has opened up, feel free to RSVP right away!
This international event has a Middle Eastern theme and is hosted by (among others): New York Europeans
NYC Arabic Language & Culture Social Club
New York South Asians

What to Bring
Everyone is to bring food AND drink. We want to have plenty all evening long! Bring BOTH:
- $10 worth of Middle-Eastern food to share. Or, with the grill, it's great to bring meats/veggie stuff, the more authentic the better! Bring an equal number of buns, if appropriate. Deli items, side dishes, and desserts are always welcome! Or, if you like, you can pay $10 at the door.
- Also, bring $10 worth of liquor, wine, beer, sodas, etc., or pay $10 at the door.
There is a wine/liquor store nearby - 86th St between Broadway/Amsterdam.
A photo is required when you RSVP. The organizer team is instructed to immediately remove any RSVP without a picture so that someone else can attend.
The dress code is dress to impress - no jeans, shorts, sandals, or baseball hats. Guys, collared shirts only. You will be sent to the closest J Crew otherwise!
Attendance at the party is first-come, first-in. If the party gets too crowded, you will have to wait outside until people leave.
A Charity Benefit
Our parties are thrown by volunteers - everyone works hard to make them unique and fun. No one makes money from these events - extra proceeds go to charities. We've selected Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) as our charity for this event.
